Katherine Ember, AICP, Senior Planner
Katherine Ember is a planner with experience in community planning and revitalization. Her responsibilities at River Street include analysis of land use and development patterns, preparation of comprehensive plans and waterfront plans, drafting zoning ordinance language and design guidelines, grant writing, and GIS mapping.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ember had six years experience as a senior and community planner at Montgomery County Planning Commission in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Ms. Ember has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Ms. Ember is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
